CALENDAR 2011 and 2012

Early Release and Conference Days to be assigned. Calendar is a combination of Cobb, Paulding, and Cherokee County Schools. If Cobb County closes for inclement weather, we will also close. However, if the weather where you live makes travel dangerous, your absence will be excused.

         

August 10-12 Teacher Pre-Planning
August 12 Sneak-a-peek from 1:00-3:00
August 15 First Day of School
September 5 Labor Day Holiday – No School
October 14 End of 1st nine weeks
October 20-21 Early release (12 noon) Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences (1PM-4PM)
November 21-25 Thanksgiving Holiday
December 1 End of 1st Semester / end of 2nd 9 Weeks
December 22-Jan 2 Christmas Holidays
January 3 Back to School: Second Semester Begins
January 16 MLK Holiday
February 20-24 Presidents’ Day Holiday: Winter Break
March 9 End of 3rd 9 weeks
March 15-16 Early release (12 noon) Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences (1PM-4PM)
April 2-6 Spring Break
May 25 Last Day of School / End of 4th 9 Weeks and Graduation
May 28 Holiday for Teachers
